In de jaren negentig was Rinus Jongma voorzitter van de Communicatiekring Nijmegen. Rinus was ook hoofd communicatie van het RadboudUMC. Vooral was hij een geweldige inspirator.
Zo rond 1995 vroeg hij mij of ik voor de Communicatiekring op persoonlijke titel een nieuw logo zou willen ontwerpen. Tot op de dag van vandaag geeft het nog steeds kleur aan de Kring.
